Getting a reading
Where do I put the watch?
Touch the crown side of the watch to the edge of the phone where the microphone is. The in-app guide shows the spot for your device.
It can't find the beat.
Use a quiet room, keep the watch still and press it lightly against the phone. Loud sounds pause the measurement. After a while the app shows the placement picture.
How long does it take?
It locks onto the beat within a few seconds, then measures until the reading is steady, up to about a minute.
How accurate is it?
Every number comes with a tolerance. Rate is solid for most watches; amplitude is experimental and depends on the lift angle, so treat it as a guide.
Purchases
Restore Pro on a new device
Open Settings in the app and choose Restore Purchases. Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple.
